The name of this variety carries on from the chieftain Lempira, known as the Lord of the Mountains. ‘’Lempiras’’ flavours combined with the maceration method, where berries have been fermented in their juice in a carbon-dioxide rich environment for 90 hours, leads to this versatile cup.
